Einstein’s Marbles

Einstein represented by marbles creating a mosaic on lexan

This project came to mind after I had purchased a vintage collection of marbles off of kijiji, with the goal of taking the old unused toys and repurposing them into an inspiring piece of art. This piece pays tribute to Einstein’s “marbles,” his remarkable thoughts that were gifted to the world.

Made of 1,700 marbles on lexan board and several layers of eco-friendly epoxy, it is back-lit to show “Einstein’s Marbles”. It  will have its first showing at the “Revision” art exhibit held in Granville, Vancouver on September 5th – 7th.
